INTACT MARINE DESIGN is a business providing naval architecture services. Be it full basic design drawings for a new build to conceptual design we have a fully capable team of naval architects to support this endeavor. Established in 2018, we have served different clients with a wide ranging services from vessel design, loading computer setup and installation, retrofit, class design drawings, salvage calculations, hull optimization, stability report preparation and lightship survey for salvage purposes. We believe in the need to innovate in order to be successful in our field. Send us your inquiries and we might have just the solutions for you.
We provide full suite of design drawings for a range of different types of vessels including tankers, tugs, anchor handling / supply tug, tank barge, crane barges, accommodation barges & deck cargo barges.
We provide engineering analysis for retrofits, hull modification and propulsion design.
We provide consultant services related to the marine design such as hull form optimization, stability analysis and salvage calculations.
Since our inception we have work on various projects. Our projects database has grown to more than 25 projects. We are grateful to all of the clients whom we have the opportunity to partner with. Below are some of the different types of projects we have been engaged in so far:
Design of a newbuild Crude Palm Oil barge with crew rest area. The barge is equipped with twin genset, hose crane and steam heating system. Deadweight is 2500 tons. The draft is kept to a minimum in order to allow the barge to enter rivers in Indonesia. It was built in China and is classed by Bureau Veritas.
Design of a newbuild twin screw tug. The tug has a length of 28 meters with 1600 horsepower. It has a rated bollard pull of 20 tons with a complement of 10 crew. The tug is designed to traverse between the sea and rivers in Indonesia with the operating draft kept to a minimum. It was built in China and is classed by Bureau Veritas.
For the first time, we were engaged to provide consultancy services and naval architecture salvage calculations for the operation to re-float a capsized vessel in Malaysia. The vessel was capsized and resting 90 degrees on it's port side. We assisted by providing calculations for the par-buckling and re-float procedures to deliver the vessel back to the owner for repair.
Modification to ballast water system to fulfill regulatory requirements. Revise the intact and damage stability manual to reflect the changes based on the latest loading condition. Drawings and calculations were reviewed and approved by the respective classification society (ABS, NKK, KR).
One of the largest ULCC and its sister vessel still in operation requires a modification to add a new STS mooring arrangement on the port side of the vessel. An updated GA and STS mooring arrangement is submitted for approval by Lloyd's Register (LR).
A small bunker tanker is to enter class due to regulatory requirements. All the class required drawings are re-produced by on-site survey and measurements done by our naval architects. The vessel was successfully entered into Ships Classification Malaysia (SCM) and continued it's operation in local waters.
Setup the loading computer onboard an existing oil tanker. Create an equivalent and accurate 3D model as input for load computer. All the calculations of the loading computer is done in real time. All results were certified by China Classification Society (CCS).
The owner of the yacht is looking to utilize the yacht commercially in Singapore. The yacht was tested using ISO procedures certified by Llyod's Register to enable the yacht to enter service. We also prepared the safety plan for the yacht complying with MPA requirements.
Prepare the general arrangement, safety plan, tonnage calculations and intact & damage stability calculations as per regulatory requirements. Vessel was successfully accepted into the government classification.
Preparation and calculations of main structural drawings for tender. This barge is proposed to be over 300 ft long, special requirements were put into the design to ensure class compliance.
Modification concept for a HUMDINGA that is to be proposed to a government agency. An enclosed cabin is added and extended roof for the back passengers.
We provided drawing review and consultancy services for a client for their purchase of a 18 meter aluminium boat for their operation. All drawings are reviewed based on CCS standard and based on the client's operation requirements.
Hull form optimization and fairing to create a lines plan for construction. The objective is to achieve the contractual speed with good seakeeping characteristics.
Hull form optimization and fairing to create a lines plan for construction. The objective is to create an optimal bollard pull and speed for the vessel. Both the hull form was well received by the client and put into construction.
A crane barge was employed for a sub-sea hose change out. In order to determine the allowable stowage of equipment, a stability calculations is done. The allowable crane load and boom reach was also calculated.
